Li-FeS2 Battery
The lithium Iron Disulfide (Li-FeS2) is the most optimal replacement for traditional primary Alkaline 1.5v AAA and AA with the same operation voltage and dimension, however, the LiFeS2 has much longer service time and cost effective for the long run. At present we have released two typical items which are AA/FR6 2900mAh and AAA/FR03 1100mAh.
Below are Some of the advantages of the lithium iron disulfide (LiFeS2) system over the alkaline chemistry:
- Direct compatibility in applications using primary 1.5 volt “AA” and “AAA” battery sizes.
- Much more power than other primary battery types, 6 times than Alkaline primary 1.5v battery.
- Provides longer service than other primary battery types in moderate to heavy drain applications.
- Greater service advantage over other primary battery types at low temperature operating at -40°C.
- Higher operating voltage and flatter discharge curve than other primary battery types.
- Superior leakage resistance compared to other primary battery types.
- Outstanding service maintenance when stored at ambient conditions.
- Considerably lighter than other battery types.
- Good service maintenance after high temperature storage up to +60°C.
- No added mercury, cadmium, or lead.
Lithium iron disulfide (LiFeS2) batteries have a much lower sensitivity to temperature compared to other chemical systems. The recommended operating temperature range is -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +140°F).
